Two Sides. One moment.

I want to feel that I am satisfied with everything I have in this life.  I also feel like owning an Audi and put a logo of Gandhiji on the rear glass. I also want to stand on the Akota-Dandia Bazar Bridge at midnight with my friends and I also want to be a person of some importance who cannot stand there.
There is so much love to give and so much love to take I feel. There are so many people around me to take care of and to keep caring about them unconditionally. There are some whom I want to beat. I want to practice non violence but it doesnt take a second to kill a mosquito which is about to bite me. I want to call my gym instructor and join from like next day but I even don't have a problem in me being this lean. I am lazy at times. I also can't stand indiscipline. I like to be in command. I also like when someone takes up the charge and I have to listen. I love who I am. I like to imitate her because I love her. I want to take a day off. I like being random. I also like to be very much on schedule. I like to over work. I wish to go for sky diving. I feel possessive. I feel they are beautiful. I also like to be the most boring person. I dont like to share my people. I love when people grow and meet new people because of me and become best friends. I continuously felt so much for a friend who lost someone important. I couldnt gather courage to talk or even write properly to say what I felt. I work hard I feel. I see people working harder than me. I love silence. I can't stop talking. I don't realize why some people dont stop me. I am still writing. I dont know why I am writing. Are you reading? Why are you even reading till here? I think there is some cosmic connection if you read till here. I dont even know what is going to happen in the next cosmic connection.

Ultra Stupid People!

Some people have this ability of being ultra stupid and boil your blood to an extent that it completely activates the anger and more anger and super Hulk anger mode in you.
Recently I came across this guy because who believes that there is nothing called self learnt skills, ability, trust, professional attitude, work preference, time discipline but one one thing which holds strong at the end of a month is a salary. Without doing the work which one is supposed to.
For the first time in my life I am also enlightened that humans are supposed to be paid a salary even without a report and submitting the work they did.

I really dont understand such people. I need to learn more about myself. I need to filter such stupidity around me. What I know is to get more confident and stronger with my own gut feeling and yes out of nowhere but yes, people who smoke and drink alcohol repel me. I don't like them at all.

Social Media - Personal - Professional

One of the very important thing which I have learnt [half of my blogs start with this sentence] working with tools of social media for your professional work is to smartly divide your personal network of friends, checking the news feeds updates, likes, comments and chatting with them which can directly affect your performance. You wouldn't even know when did you divert into something else totally not important at that point of time.

You have your nursery school friend, your crush, your ex boss, your best friend, your best friend's wife, your distant relative aunty, all right there to talk or tell you something about their lives and you have your work.

Working on a solution for this - I think the most easiest thing to do is to create an admin account to handle the work pages which doesn't friends on it.
Let's see if it works!

Hello Monday! : )

updating with myself to self

I am recently learning it first hand that how when you look at things in a commercialized way you start loosing your "thinking with heart" technology.

On checking out the kid-inside, the other blog I used to write and the comment segments where there are so many people we used to talk to and reply in comments. An era of not-so-much direct communication technology, communication which used to personal but yet not too personal which helped to keep the focus on the content. We are missing that out in the direct-easy available platforms to talk.

Yesterday after a long time I was sitting alone. I was waiting for Ajinkya and Jay to come. Till that time I was sitting alone. Thats when I realised, I dint remember when I last sat alone. Speaks volumes about a lot of things.

Doing flashbacks on Handmade Hope for a possible documentary video makes me realize there is so much of gratitude of people around who have kept on believing unconditionally in whatever crazy things I am doing with life.

Discussing with Chetan about design, I realised I am blank and not able to understand or maybe or not in that frame to wanting to understand. He is always there, so thankful for that. I know someone who will kick my ass when I start doing this in much more stupid way! Thank you brother!

Also the next thing is Vipassana. Looking forward to all what silence has to offer.

Let Go and Live

There are times in life when we take decisions. Decisions for which you don't need to think much. You just do it. There is one such thing which happened in last week.
A very simple conversation, a simple conclusion could have been reached but it went to a different zone all together because after a point of time you can not keep taking in things which you aren't meant too.
Its a good thing to let go things. So many quotes of letting go we keep reading.
Here is one more!
Listen to you heart. Listen to how it beats. Listen to how much patience it can take in.
Let go when it tells you start living!

Do!

so much of action happened in last three days. so much to learn. so much of perspectives. so much about people!

of the few major things which I can highlight from these days!
for anything and everything you do there will be a hundred people to talk about it in whatever different ways and perspectives in which they have their own understanding capabilities. Catch is, you have to keep on doing things what you believe in. This must have been a told  a hundred times again from the times of Shakespeare but then there is thing called Routinespeare which will catch hold of you !
Get out of it! Out and do what you want to do!

The Happy Umbrella #100HappyDays #Day1

"There are opportunities to serve which  keeps coming to us everyday. It is on us how many opportunities we take and why we let go the one's we let go." ~ Swara Pandya at an Awakin Circle.

Many months back when we started working from our top floor office we required umbrellas under which the interns and volunteers can sit when the sun is on the head. I called up Jhumari [super senior from college and an amazing human being] and asked if it is possible to get two umbrellas from Radio Mirchi and she was all YES about it.
Always ready to help!

Today, I was walking on the street and saw a hawker who sits there from a very long time and I somehow today noticed that he has a black umbrella which was pretty small for him to get some shade from it.
After quite some internal brain fight I remembered Swara didi's quote. I walked to him and talked with him for a while and then decided to give away one umbrella to him.

that was that.
Gifts I always feel are to Pass It On.

Also yesterday Ashwini asked if I want to join the 100 Happy Day Challenge and this happened coincidentally. So here it is 100 Happy Days begin today!

Internships, negligence and responsibilites

I thought many times before putting this down in words but somewhere I really felt that this very much necessary.
At the foundation we keep on having students coming for their academic internships.
I have always tried to be really very frank, open and understanding the flexibility a student might want in his/her internship period like want to go and hang out with friends, go for a movie, take a mini vacation etc.
In most of the cases we haven't denied them to do anything which they wish to do because I don't believe in getting something done with force specially for something like an internship with community where you are an individual attempting to teach or explain what is right and wrong and possible and viable for another individual.
But what really pisses the head off is lies, irregularities, laziness and the most nonsensical excuses which people might not have given in 1950s if they had internships back then.

What needs to be understood by individuals going for internships is that its not a piece of paper you earn at the end of  a few weeks or month, its the experience which you have to take back because that's what is going to stay with you for your life time.
What needs to be understood by individuals going for internships is that even the organization and the people in the organization put equal amount of energies to create resources and possibilities from which you can get a chance to learn and take back something worthwhile.
What needs to be understood by individuals going for internships is that you can try speaking the truth and speak from your heart about what you are exactly looking for on any given day of your internship. With me, you can even say I am in a bad mood today give me something easy to do or a day off. Yes, it works with me. I din't give my third semester post graduate exams because I dint have a good mood to write a paper.
What needs to be understood by individuals going for internships is to sometimes finishing a project when it is supposed to be if not before that. Using up all your energy and sweat for creating something good in the world is what is required when you consciously decide to take up an internship with community work organization.
What needs to be understood by individuals going for internships is that as an organization we know this is the time you will fall sick and people in your family will die multiple number of times but have the courtesy of giving a phone call and telling the same to the organization. You wont loose anything but a rupee or two. Don't whatsapp your excuse for the sake of Mark Zuck. He will feel really bad.

What made me write this today?
We have two students who have come down for an internship with us from Symbiosis Bengaluru who are on a self decided holiday without submitting their work of two weeks, forget the interest of using their time for an internship they decided to take up to add something to the organization. Even after multiple confirmation before arranging logistics for a commitment on behalf of the organization and not turning up at the last moment. If you are sick, tell your doctor to make a phone call.

After giving a serious thought, yes the organization also can not invest time and energy into students who cannot understand the responsibility of tangible and intangible resources which are put into use.
